Ñ KeyQuencer is a powerful and solid macro engine designed to use very little memory; it can perform complex tasks that are invoked by a single keystroke. KeyQuencer uses a very simple scripting approach and can be extended through external extensions, which are the basic building blocks that make up a full macro.
Ñ The bundled extensions provide lots of power and functionality: they can type some text for you, capture a screen image, open a file or a folder, launch an application, execute a menu command, choose an item from a pop up menu, type a key combination, click on a button or anywhere else, change the number of colors on your screen, dial a phone number, change the speaker╒s volume, switch to another application, move the front window to a convenient place, select another window, show the current time and date, quit one or more applications, manage multiple clipboards in any application, change the clipboard╒s contents, toggle the balloon help, display a message, play a sound, redraw a window or the whole screen, put a PowerBook to sleep, find the coordinates of a screen location, invoke the low-level debugger, select a printer and much more.
Ñ KeyQuencer╒s macros can be executed from a text file (with the Macro Editor application, with the Open extension or via KQ Apple Events), from a HyperCard stack (by using the powerful KQMacro XFCN) and from FileMaker Pro or an AppleScript script (by using the standard DoScript message).
Ñ KeyQuencer╒s macros can now be launched over a network on remote Macs by using the Macro Editor╒s networking capabilities, which require KQ Apple Events and Program Linking enabled on the remote machine. You can start file sharing on remote Macs without quitting your desk, shut down a file server, send a message to a friend, launch applications, and do everything else you can do on your own Mac with a KeyQuencer macro.
Ñ System 7 installation:
1- Move the KeyQuencer control panel into your Control Panels folder.

3- Move the KQ Apple Events extension into your Extensions folder if needed (see the online docs for more info on this).
